Independent Bookseller At-Large
Jarrod Annis is a writer, bookseller, and consultant in matters of literary culture and community. For the last decade he has worked with authors, publishers, and booksellers to promote small press literature. He currently serves on the board of CLMP, where he co-founded the Independent Bookseller Council. In 2019, Jarrod was named NAIBA’s handseller of the year. His book reviews and recommendations have appeared in Lithub, Nylon, The Improbable, The Village Voice, The Wall Street Journal, and elsewhere. Jarrod currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
